Planning "Committee"
A group of us got together in November 2006 on the occasion of the school's 50th anniversary. Luckily one of us stumbled upon a notice that a big bash was being held at the school, and after a flurry of emails a few of us managed to attend. (See photos in the photo gallery.) We rounded up nine of us to have brunch the next morning in Garden City, had a great time, and decided it was time for another gathering.
It was clearly too late to plan anything for a 40th reunion, and we haven't had reunions in traditional years anyway, so Stu Zuckerman came up with the great idea of celebrating the year in which most of us will turn 60 - so 2008 it is!!
With everyone's other responsibilities and our group tendency towards a bit of anarchy, lethargy, and chaos, the wheels have turned fairly slowly, but the basics are in place, more will happen as the date approaches, and we're clearly going to have a great time!
